Sales Tax Exemption

Blue Stained Roots LLC is proud to participate in Colorado’s effort to support sustainable forestry and resource recovery. As our products are made from qualifying beetle-kill wood, they are exempt from Colorado state sales tax under the Beetle Kill Wood Products Sales Tax Exemption.

This exemption was established to encourage the removal and reuse of beetle-affected trees, promote forest health, and support environmentally responsible businesses like ours.

What This Means for You:

You will not be charged Colorado state sales tax on purchases of our handcrafted furniture made from eligible beetle-kill wood.
